Sadko's new mini-album invites you to take a mental walk with music, to Lake Svetloyar, and try to hear the ringing of the invisible ancient city of Kitezh.

The city of Kitezh is often called the Russian Atlantis, but they only have in common that both disappeared underwater. The reasons for the disaster are completely different: Atlantis, according to legend, was punished by the gods for pride, and Kitezh-grad in this way... saved himself. And he did not die at all, but still exists somewhere in a parallel dimension and is waiting in the wings to rise from the lake waters and reveal himself to the world.

After conquering some Russian principalities, Batu Khan learned about Kitezh and ordered the capture of it. In 1243, the Mongols pursued Prince Dolgoruky to Kitezh. The enemy surrounded the fortress, but could not capture it. When the Mongols found Kitezh, they were surprised that the city had no fortifications or defenses at all. Its inhabitants did not even intend to defend themselves and only prayed. Seeing this, the Mongols attacked the city, but then they had to stop. Suddenly, fountains of water gushed out of the ground and began to flood the city and the invaders themselves. The attackers had to retreat, and they could only see the city sinking into the lake. The last thing they saw was the cross on the dome of the cathedral. And soon there were only waves left in the place of the city.

This legend gave rise to numerous incredible rumors that have reached our days. The Holy City continues to exist in a parallel dimension and will manifest in this world when the "last times" come. It is said that only those who are pure in heart and soul will find their way to Kitezh. It is also said that in calm weather, you can sometimes hear the ringing of bells and the singing of people heard from under the waters of Lake Svetloyara.

The legend of Kitezh-grad brought many talented Russian artists and writers to the shore of Svetloyar. For example, based on the legend of the city of Kitezh, an opera was created by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

И вовсе не погиб, а по сей день существует где-то в параллельном измерении и ждет своего часа, чтобы подняться из озерных вод и явить себя миру.

Завоевав некоторые русские княжества, хан Батый узнал о Китеже и приказал захватить его. в 1243 году, монголы преследуя князя Долгорукого добрались до Большого Китежа. Враги окружили крепость, но захватить не смогли. Когда монголы отыскали Китеж, были удивлены тем что у города совсем не было никаких укреплений и защиты. Его жители даже не собирались защищаться и только молились. Увидев это, монголы атаковали город, но тут им пришлось остановиться. Внезапно из-под земли хлынули фонтаны воды и стали затапливать город и самих захватчиков. Нападавшим пришлось отступить, и они только могли видеть, как город погружался в озеро. Последнее, что они видели, был крест на куполе собора. И вскоре на месте города остались только волны.

Это предание породило многочисленные невероятные слухи, которые дошли до наших дней. Что священный город продолжает существовать в параллельном измерении и проявится в этом мире, когда наступят "последние времена".
Говорится, что только те, кто чист сердцем и душой, найдут путь в Китеж. Также говорится, что в тихую погоду можно иногда слышать колокольный звон и пение людей, слышимое из-под вод озера Светлояра.
